Respect, trust and friendship are three feelings Paola Barakat is bringing to the neighborhoods where she has opened her three eyewear branches.
Her knowledge of the optical industry and her way of always finding the right frame for the right client, as well as her insights about new and original product have earned her a certain complicity between her and her clients.
Curious by nature, always on the lookout for innovative products, she has a keen awareness about what will fill her clients with enthusiasm. « Our publicity, she says, is mostly by word-of-mouth, compliments we receive and invitations from friends to come and enjoy our astonishing service ».
Born in Lebanon, Paola Barakat gets her optician diploma in 1982 in Italy, where she grew up. She broadens her studies by doing training courses in Paris and taking optometry classes at Bures School on Yvettes. Her classes completed, she takes another training course, this time with the President of the Association des optométristes de Paris at the time.
In 1997, she opens her first eyewear clinic on Fleury, and soon afterwards, given its big success, she opens a second one on Bernard street in 2002.
Finally, in 2007, she becomes the owner of the Savage-Chapleau store, located at 3954 Wellington street, in Verdun.
Since 2006, Lunetterie Barakat gives back 5$ on every purchase of Jean Reno and / or Ziggy glasses to the Eye Disease Foundation. With our combined efforts, we will succeed in giving them more.
With the passing of years, Paola has been able to build a strong team who respects her values and principles and follows her lead in noteworhty customer service.
